Our History
Mr. Mechanic has been at the forefront of Volkswagen Vanagon innovation for over 25 years. Since 2000, we have specialized in Subaru engine swaps, making us one of the first to pioneer these conversions for the Vanagon platform. Our early work set the foundation for what has become one of the most popular upgrades in the Vanagon community, blending classic VW charm with modern Subaru reliability and performance.
